Authentic Oktoberfest Glass Beer Boots

We import these from Europe from a glass manufacturer who is the largest supplier of glass boots and krugs to the Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. The history, though not precise, dates back about 100 years. One story has it that a German or Prussian general declared that he would drink from a boot if his soldiers were victorious. After his troops rose to the challenge, the general had a glass fashioned like a boot to fulfill his promise. Regardless of its origins, the Beer Boot has become legendary among gamers and collectors alike. Our boots are enhanced with the traditional German eagle and an Oktoberfest banner, permanent etched in our NJ shop.

Authentic Oktoberfest Mass Krugs

Made by the same manufacturer who produces our beer boots, the dimpled mass krug is the single most recognizable icon of the Munich Oktoberfest. The name is usual misinterpreted as meaning "big mug". Though "krug" does translate to mug, the word "mass" refers to a measured liter. So in fact, our 1/2 liter version would more accurately be called a "half-mass krug", but I digress. The point is, whichever size you prefer, our mass krugs are the real deal. The perfect gift for a real beer lover.
